guy is clearly nuts and has the gall to call Paul Harrel nuts . Paul Harrel is a FUDD who would lay down his arms to comply with the gov. No reason to worry about Paul taking action against your buddy hispanic Pranka and other gov dweebs.
Great video! The Glock and P are pretty similar, but the comp makes a good difference. My polymer Rival has more muzzle rise than my G17, but I still shoot the Rival better overall in USPSA. But not by much.
what happened, got tired of rifle shooting? One week he is all in on long range, next week its BCM is dope, then its criterion swag, now its "rifle is too easy" I am a pistol guy....next week it will be "quit shooting as lead is dangerous", cause the CDC told me and my 10th wife is a nurse, next week it will be "its better than golf".....and round and round it goes. Perhaps he will buy another truck or something and diss toyota.
What are you talking about he has been shooting pistol sinceforever and rifle the past few years
That trigger control! 💵
what happened to the s&w 40 results. Guy makes videos and never follows up. Fraud alert!
40? Why would anyone shoot 40.
Nyet, glonk is fine
Well, that was a clear thing. Staccato wins
It has been called the fastest shooting gun by many. ;)
They all look comparable
The staccato is way flatter……😂😂😂(gaaaaaaay)
P needs a heavier recoil spring
Nah it looks perfect. No dip at all.
I don’t trust Sig.
"Nobody but me understands red dots" (proceeds to spend almost 7 minutes not explaining red dots)
Don’t worry about the haters! “As I know you don’t” I have learned so much by your training videos and book. You have increased my knowledge and have made me a far better shooter and I thank you for everything you have been doing and thank you again! Target focused and loving it!
Just getting into practical pistol. I have 2 guns getting red dots for CO. This is what I'm most curious to see where i am at. I dry fired a good bit with a single action revolver from a holster a few years back.... not sure how quick i will pick up indexing now.
Mach 1 in the garage ?
In regards to Paul Howe. Maybe you guys teaching two different things. You're teaching shooting as an expert shooter. He's teaching gunfighting as a guy that's been in a lot of gunfights. They seem similar, but I'm not sur they are. The critically important skills in one may not be as high a priority in the other and visa versa. It's not apples and oranges, but it may be tangerines and oranges.
Sig is Trash Tier. They deserve to go belly up over the 320/18/17/365 lines. Just complete trash.
Hm seems a problem to me that could have a simple fix/upgrade 🤷🏻♂️
Its a "hand" gun not "hands" gun, in my opinion we should train one handed and think of our support hand as a stability bonus. If your a right handed shooter your left hand thumb can squeeze the right hand thumb down on the ledge the manufacturer designed on the gun creating the web of your right hand to be more solid. Jmo🤷🏻♂️😎
Zero is a clown. I watch his videos as entertainment, can t take him seriously.
I don't do competition so I see every thing from a fighting/marital/ccw perspective. Given your skill level looked safe to me. The whole no one crosses the line unless guns are cold thing is a range rule for liability reasons and because you don't know people's skill level on a public range. But in reality you are either pointing the gun at a person or not and if you aren't you can't shoot them.amd your are safe. Also there will be way more people you don't want to shoot than you do in a real situation. The first time you shoot past people you don't want to hit probably shouldn't be on the two way range.
Ben how come you never buy a Stoeger pistol. Come one it’s right in the name!!
I think the future is direct mount optics that come as different versions with the various gun manufacturers footprints like the Holosun SCS. Once optic ready guns became a thing making thr gun match the optic instead of the other way around became a backwards way of doing things. The SCS has made it way more accessible as it saves you the cost of a thrid party plate and/or getting a slide milled and saves the cost of suppressor height sights. Plus it's on the cheaper side optic wise at around $350. For example you can just buy any MOS Gock and throw an SCS MOS on it and be done. You don't even have to worry about a battery to change. Anyone who has a compatible gun and is on fence or struggling with the cost should really look at the SCS as it is a great way to get into a dot in an affordable and simple way. I personally think the SCS MOS is basically the perfect dot if you ccw a Glock. It's small, affordable, easy to mount, never runs out of battery, good quality especially for the price and looks like a factory part that belongs on the gun if you care about that.
For the comment regarding LE carrying AR15s and shotguns and them not being drop safe. This is know and trained ARs and Shotguns that are carried in Police cars are carried in a "cruiser ready" configuration per policy which means for an AR a 30 round mag in the rifle bolt forward and no round in the chamber. Same for shotgun and this is specifically done because they are not drop safe. Just food for thought.
Yup. As expected.
Them: "Should I get a red dot?" Me: "Are you going to dry fire?" Them: "Umm, uhh" Me: "Well, if you are going to ignore the sights anyway, you might as well ignore the free sights that come with the gun rather than pay $500 for a dot you're going to ignore."
My last Cz was a P01...10 years ago. It was awsome. I would have to find an older model to buy another.
Biggest issues are that red dots cost a lot for a decent dot, and they increase your concealment footprint by a significant margin. Significant enough so that even if you have a smaller red dot, you essentially have to carry one gun size down to maintain the same level of concealment. Which means that, if you can normally carry a compact/midsize gun and conceal well, you’re probably going to have to carry a subcompact if you want to maintain the same level of concealment due the increased height and unnatural angles introduced by the dot. So now you’re gaining a red dot, but you’re losing the capacity and shootability of a compact/midsize gun, in exchange for a subcompact. Or you can still mount the red dot on your compact and have worse concealment. The point being that there are trade offs.
I’ve seen some P 365 failures in classes.
Alien Gear sucks!
All that is needed to win a ridiculous lawsuit is a stupid jury. No shortage of those these days.
I didn't care for a long time. The next pistol purchase will, at least be optics cut, no compromise.
Its really a non-issue. I understand young shooters may not know about Series 70 guns and this video was explained it.
It does become an issue when the promoters of this gun kept saying "This gun passed drop tests of major police departments..." pretending it would be different.
This was insightful.
Mine has lapsed
Please tell more stories about Hot Dog. 😂
My 320 lives in my Flux Raider. I have not had any instance of it discharging without the trigger being pulled now or before putting it in the chassis. I don’t know what to make of the situation. I’ve only seen one scenario that I don’t have an explanation for. Every other scenario that I’ve read about or seen footage of seems more likely to be an negligent discharge blamed on the 320s internet reputation. I am not defending SIG, this is just my experience and impression
Area 4 here, I don't follow the official stuff going on at all, so have no real objections to it currently
I have used iron sights for over 45 years. I love them. I'm getting to where seeing them is a challenge. I have a Trijicon RMR on 1 pistol. I work with it often. You nailed it; NOT focusing on the dot is hard. I have a helluva time with it. I have to consciously and methodically remind myself. Additionally, despite nearly 5 decades of shooting, trigger control must always be on my mind. About the time I believe "It's just automatic anymore" the errant shots will begin! My dad was one of those 1 in 1 Million guys who could have castrated a gnat with a pistol combined with basic pointer finger alignment. It just "happened" with him. I'm not that guy. I have to practice. Great video!
You will see a lot of instructors use Ben’s methodology, making them their own, without giving him any credit!
Due to beta males like this the antichrist agenda is destroying America.
Alex is amazing and is the reason why I'm into the sport. Great news!!
just seeing the shirt. whats the perk for being "sponsored" by a gentlemens club? inquiring minds want to know!!! LOL
Mine has been lapsed for going on 2 years. I still go to 3 matches a month, just no over priced nationals (where they have too few portapotties, water, food etc etc). No classification, but I pretty much know where I stack up in the standings, so no biggie.
Your hair is starting to look like the bad guy in Kindergarten Cop.
There's an inherent balance in trying to blend a racegun and a duty gun - speed and safety are almost opposites when it comes to handguns. It's also very common to instinctively disregard a perceived safety concern because safety is soft or bad or whatever. Bottom line: If they're gonna put the word "Duty" anywhere near it, it needs to be drop safe. Things get dropped, especially when you're carrying them all day, every day. It's not difficult to make a 1911/2011 platform drop-safe, and it's not impossible to get a good trigger afterward. Whether this specific platform needs to be drop safe is another question - is this truly a failure of safety or more of a failure of marketing? The real rub I'd like to know - Is the New CS/C platform different? Or will that one pop too?
As an engineer with both manufacturing and design experience, the P320 has never inspired confidence. Its internal safety devices are suspect in both metallurgy and function. I believe that there is a failure mode that, while rare and hard to reproduce, has dire consequences for the carrier of the pistol that cannot simply be prevented by following safe gun handling doctrine. When all of this started coming out, I decided that a fully energized striker is a bad idea, and I switched to Glock. You are relying on the internal safety mechanisms working as intended 100% of the time. These mechanisms can fail to function for any number of reasons, and I believe this is why *some* of the P320s are going off. Some are just gross negligent cops just trying to save face.
Sounds like officers need to wear a second body cam which full time monitors their holsters..
I never had one
